The Choix Goncourt, launched in 1998 by the Acad\u00e9mie Goncourt, brings together students from around the world to promote the reading of major contemporary literary works and encourage the creation of an intercultural dialogue space around Francophone literature.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first edition of the Choix Goncourt de C\u00f4te d'Ivoire was organized in 2024, initiated by Dr. S\u00e9verin N\u2019Gatta, lecturer-researcher at the Universit\u00e9 F\u00e9lix Houphou\u00ebt-Boigny in Abidjan. The jury is composed of young modern literature students from the country\u2019s three largest universities, who will award their prize to the author of their choice.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Arts Vivants and its partner, the Ivorian association Point de Lecture, were commissioned by the French Embassy and the Institut Fran\u00e7ais of C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire to supervise and coordinate an ambitious program of events.
