Since 2023, we have been supporting the Ivorian association “Point de Lecture,” committed to promoting West African literature. Together, we are working to create a Storytelling House in the rural village of Krigambo.

The first major initiative at this venue involved students and teachers in collecting stories to use as educational tools in the classroom. Storytellers were brought in to revive this tradition of transmission.

This initiative, supported by the International Organization of La Francophonie, has been a success. A key element is the creation of an interactive online platform (currently in development), a pioneering tool for collecting and preserving this intangible heritage of humanity.
